HAVE YOUR SAY ON THE FUTURE OF VOLUNTEERING IN OUR COMMUNITY

Murray Connect - Local Volunteer Network

Western Murray Land Improvement Group invites you to an open community forum to discuss the creation of a Local Volunteer Network—a new initiative to support our region into the future.

With support from the NSW Government and The Bridge Newspaper, we want to hear from you:

  • Are you interested in helping during emergencies?
  • Would you like to learn new skills such as gardening or digital literacy?
  • Are you looking to re-enter the workforce through volunteering?
  • Do you want to contribute but only have limited time?
  • Do you want to be part of building something meaningful for your community?

We have been provided with some amazing ideas so far:

  • Emergency Response Training
  • Book Clubs
  • Women’s Support Group
  • RFS Support
  • Community Garden.
