The Focus of our Vision
- Trade: We are committed to expanding regional trade by identifying new industry opportunities, supporting existing businesses, and enhancing cross-border collaborations. Our focus is on increasing business visibility, fostering innovation, and developing a master plan for economic growth.
- Industry: We aim to diversify and support existing industries while also developing new ones. This involves attracting new industries to the region, collaborating with local businesses to foster growth, and providing skill development and workforce training programs to meet industry needs.
- Commerce: We work with all levels of government and local groups to strengthen our community. This includes supporting local businesses through improved compliance, marketing, and planning resources, promoting digital marketplace expansion, and supporting local food producers.
- Tourism: We support and develop new and existing tourism events and boost regional tourism by promoting unique attractions, improving accessibility, and enhancing visitor experiences. This involves destination development and branding, infrastructure improvements, and increasing tourism offerings to extend visitor stays.
